BSP candidate booked for violating poll code

BSP candidate from Kairana constituency, Kanwar Hasan, was today booked for violation of the Model Code of Conduct after he gave "objectionable" statement during a rally.
This is the second case of violation of poll code slapped against him, police said.
Meanwhile, District Magistrate N P Singh said that 13 cases of violation of poll code have been registered in different police stations in Shamli district.
