In another key move, the AP government brought in Indian Information Service officer S Venkateswar on deputation and posted him as Commissioner of Information and Public Relations.
Incumbent P Krishna Mohan, who was also holding the post of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister, has been transferred out as Chief Executive Officer of Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty.
Ramana will also hold the post of VC and MD of AP Housing Board, an order issued by Chief Secretary Satya Prakash Tucker said.
