Burglars decamp with 250 sovereigns of gold worth Rs 64 lakh

Burglars today struck a private jewelery loan firm near here and looted 250 sovereigns of gold worth Rs 64 lakh and a total of Rs 25000 cash.
The owner of the firm had found the window of the shop broken open this morning and the valuables missing, police said.
Forensic experts visited the spot and sniffer dogs were engaged to find out some clues, they added.
