Businessman dies in accident

A 54-year-old businessman who is involved in giving training in the operation of flying cameras and played a role in helping U Sagayam, inquiring into illegal mining of granite in the district, to record the illegal quarries, using the drones, died in a road accident here today, police said.
Police said Parathasarathy was on way back to his home after dropping his friend at the Matthuthavani bus stand, when he lost control of his vehicle near his house at Veerapanjan and hit a roadside tree. He died on the spot.
