Can't afford to miss spending time with kids: Kate Winslet

Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet says she would love to perform on stage but doesn't want to give up evenings with her children.
Winslet, 43, has children Mia, 14, Joe, 11, and 23-month-old Bear. The actress said the thought of missing on bedtime with kids holds her back from venturing into theatre, reported Female First.
"I think it's the only thing so far that really has been holding me back, that I would lose my weekends and those very important bedtimes which I'm never going to get back," Winslet said.
While she admitted balancing work with her children is not always easy, she knows how lucky she is compared to many others.

"I'm not going to pretend that it's straightforward. I always immediately think of the incredible women who work nine-to-five jobs, 48 weeks of the year. Because they're the women I take my hat off to.
