A delegation of 16 Canadian companies will arrive here this week to attend the 8th Renewable Energy India 2014 Expo.
"The companies are actively exploring commercial partnership opportunities in India. The strength of the Canadian contingent is clear evidence of their interest in India's renewable energy market," an official statement by the Canadian High Commission said.
The delegation members will represent Simon Fraser University, Ballard Power, Canadian Solar, Vizimax, NuWorld, New Dawn Energy Solutions, Alpha Technologies, IREQ, Idenergie, Montreal Nuclear Services, Fugesco, Windular Research and Technologies Inc, OPAL-RT Technologies etc.
Provinces such as Quebec and British Columbia have lent their support to the delegation and are looking forward to fruitful results from their participation.
