: It was a dream-come-true for a blood cancer affected six-year-old boy as he was made the 'Rachakonda Commissioner of Police' for a day today by the Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat.
The class II student D Ihsan's wish was fulfilled after Make-a-Wish Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), interacted with his parents about their son on his dream.
The boy hails from Medak district of Telangana.
Later, the representatives of the NGO met Bhagwat and briefed him about the boy's wish.
Then Bhagwat handed over charge to the overjoyed Ishan.
The boy suggested installation of several CCTV cameras to maintain law and order and create a friendly policing atmosphere in the Commissionerate limits.
He also said he wanted to curb property offences and increase the number of 'She Teams' and police patrol for the safety of women and girls.
