Candidate Rawal meets party workers

Noted actor and BJP's candidate from Ahmedabad East Lok Sabha seat Paresh Rawal today met thousands of party workers and senior BJP leaders on his campaign trail.
The Ahmedabad East constituency comprises the Assembly segments of Bapunagar, Vatva, Gandhinagar South, Dehgam, Nikol, Thakkarnagar and Naroda.
"Before kick-starting his campaign today morning, Rawal visited his native village Paliyad in Gandhinagar and took blessings of their family deity. He then met workers of Gandhinagar South and visited Dehgam," BJP leader, Harshad Patel said.
In the afternoon, Rawal went to the BJP office at Koba and met senior BJP leaders including Purushuttom Rupala and Om Mathur.

Rawal has been given the ticket in place of seven-time BJP MP Harin Pathak who is considered to be close to veteran BJP leader L K Advani.
