The raid was conducted on a specific input during which plants weighed 10 kgs were seized.
"The seized plants valued at approximately Rs 10 lakh were seized during the raid," Calangute Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi said.
Police arrested Susanta Sahoo (26) and Pravash Salam (20) for allegedly growing the plants.
Candolim coast is notorious for narcotics trade.
Dalvi said some hookahs were also found in a room used by the accused duo.
Filho has been booked under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, the official said.
