Caretaker couple of religious place set ablaze by mob

"Sushil Kumar alias Rana Baba and his wife were set on fire by the angry villagers, who were opposed to their certain activities," Deputy Commissioner Police Ashish Chaudhry said.

While Kumar is in a critical condition in local Dayanand Hospital, his wife is said to have sustained more than 60 per cent burns, the officer said.

A police party, led by a senior police official, has rushed to the spot.
