Caterpillar to manufacture 98 tonne off-road trucks in India

World's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, Caterpillar to produce higher capacity off-highway trucks in India.
Caterpillar showcased their Cat 773E and 777E Off-Highway trucks to customers in International Mining & Machinery Exhibition (IMME) held in city.
Company said the new Cat 777E is a 97.98-tonne- capacity off road truck.
Cat 773E and Cat 777E and these would be manufactured in Caterpillar's production facility set up at Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, a company statement said.
Caterpillar has a wide product portfolio in India that serves various sectors across infrastructure including power and oil exploration, railways, defense and other sectors. In mining Caterpillar has the widest range of products to cater to surface as well as underground mining.

The company has two dealers in India - GMMCO and TIPL.
