CBDA defeats Indian Navy in a high scoring inaugural match

Hosts Coimbatore District Basketball Association (CBDA) defeated Indian Navy 94-83 in the inaugural match of the 52nd All India Basketball Tournament for Nachimuthu Gounder Cup for Men, which began here today.
A Vijay scored 32 points for the winners and Amal 22 for the Navymen.
In the first match for 16th CRI Pumps Trophy for women, Chattisgarh State defeated North Frontier Railways 57-43.
Mega Singh potted 14 points for Chattisgarh and Geetha 17 for the losers.
