The CBI today detained Ranjan Dash, co-founder of Artha Tatwa (AT) Group and founder-member of Swastik India Multi-State Cooperative Agency, for interrogation.
Dash was picked up from the Badagada Brit Colony area of the city. He had quit the AT group and formed Swastik India Multi-State Cooperative Agency, CBI's special investigating team DIG S Bagchi said.
Swastik India Multi-State Cooperative Agency is among 44 chitfund companies being probed by the CBI.
Bagchi told reporters here that the investigation agency had scored some 'success' in the probe into the 44 companies.
"We have got some success," Bagchi said.
