In a BSE filing, the company said that the supply of gas under the agreement will commence from April 2018 and continue for nine contract years.
The gas is being purchased mainly for new urea plant being set up at the existing site in Gadepan, Kota district in Rajasthan. However, the gas can also be used at the existing plants of the company located at same place, it said.
The annual contracted quantity would be 24,955 billion British thermal units on gross calorific value basis.
