Champion cueist Arun's break of 160 fires up Young Guns

SP Young Guns got the better of WJ Genii and Scorpions by an identical 3-2 margin to climb up to the fourth spot in the Videocon Billiards Premier League here today.
Maharashtra senior champion Arun Agrawal fired the tournament's highest break of 160 while prevailing over his son Aditya of Scorpions, and in the process eclipsed his own previous best of 159.
Genii slipped to the third spot after enduring another going down to RRockets 0-5 which enabled the winners to earn a maximum eight points and leap to the second position.
They were aided by Australian Open bronze medallist Siddharth Parikh's win over Maharashtra junior champion Jaiveer Dhingra and a brilliant 136 break in the fifth tie against Sunil Jain.

MB's Shooters held on to the top spot when they prevailed 3-2 over Tigers after leading 2-0. Former world professional No. 7 Nalin Patel beat world team championship silver medallist Dhruv Sitwala, while Mahesh Jagdale overcame Amit Sapru to force the decider.
But Sitwala had the last laugh in the clash of the icon cueists when he fired a break of 95 to beat Patel in the decider.

Tigers also went down to SK's Kannon Masters 1-4 as Jatinder Dawer upset Patel and Hitesh Kotwani beat Clyde Affonso 100-91 in a tight finish.
Tigers and Kannon Masters shared the sixth spot with 20 points each.
