Charred body of man found

The charred body of an identified man was recovered from a car at Bhajedi village in Jhinjhna area of Shamli district, police sources said here today.
The body was recovered last night, they said, adding prima facie it appeared that the man was burnt alive after being killed.
The car bears a registration number plate of Dehradun district of neighbouring Uttarakhand, police said.
An investigation has been launched to track down the owner of the vehicle, they added.
