Maharashtra government today asked its departments to check whether a matter is sub judice, before holding any meeting on it.
The state today issued a government resolution (GR), which seeks to give clarity on the issue of holding meetings as per directions of the Chief Minister, ministers and ministers of state.
"It has come to light that there have been instances, where a meeting on a matter which was sub judice, was convened," the GR said.
"The administrative departments concerned should thoroughly verify if the matter is sub judice, before convening a meeting on it," the GR said.
