The survey which began on August 30 at the various offices of the group at Lalbanga, Lalbagh, Shishkunj school, Jaipur Jewels and Web Dunia was completed this morning, the official said quoting IT Commissioner B P Jain.
Over fifty IT sleuths conducted surveys at Vinay Chhajlani group doing business in new media, software development, jewellery, real state, education, and marriage gardens.
No company official could be reached for comment.
The group owned a Hindi Daily in Indore until recently before selling it to a UP-based media group.
Of the income surrendered to Income Tax department, Rs 190 crore of unaccounted income was from Anu Trading Company dealing in share market, Rs 15 crore form Jaipur Jewellers, Rs 14 crore from real estate and "there was Rs 10 crore worth of loose papers", the official said.
The survey was over but further investigation were still on, he said.
