Child health and nutrition program launched in Noida

District administration today launched child health and nutrition programme under the child development scheme at sector 8 here.
Samajwadi Party local leaders also shared the dais.
The programme was inaugurated by giving 'kheer' to children and fruit buckets were distributed to women who were over 7 months pregnant.
The women were briefed about the nutritional balanced diet and the children were medically examined and their weights noted.
Children between the age-group of 7 months to 6 years were given hot-cooked and supplementary food having adequate quantity of proteins and vitamins.
CDPO Veena Bajaj said the administration is taking all efforts to end malnutrition.
