Christina Grimmie's family has thanked her fans after the singer received posthumous 2016 Teen Choice award.
The singer, who was shot dead by a deranged fan while performing at a concert in Orlando, was recognised as the Choice Web Star: Music, reported People magazine.
One of the Grimmie family members posted a thank you note on Twitter on the slain songstress' behalf, along with three photos of the surfboard prize.
"#TeamGrimmie thanks to you, we recently received Christina's 2016 Teen Choice Award (Surfboard) for Choice Web Star: Music.
"Your commitment to Christina's legacy and making your voice heard online is a blessing to us. We also acknowledge those who supported behind the scenes to make this a reality - Thank you with love - TheGrimmies #CGForever IWontBeINVISIBLE," read the message.

In February, the family also helped release the lyric video to the Grimmie's new posthumous single, "Invisible."
Grimmie, 22, passed away over one month before the telecast of the awards.
