Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz is close to finalising a deal to star in 'Horrible Bosses 2' as the father of Chris Pine's character.
'Django Unchained' star and Pine would play the new set of mean employers in the sequel to the 2011 hit comedy.
Sean Anders and John Morris are directing and producing the comedy, respectively, said the Hollywood Reporter.
Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jamie Foxx are set to reprise their roles in the workplace comedy.
Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey are also returning for the sequel.
The company is hoping to release the movie in November 2014.
Waltz reportedly had declined to play the part but eventually, a deal was sorted out.
