As part of three-tier security, around 10,000 security personnel are manning the strong rooms in which 20,000 electronic voting machines (EVM), storing the fate of Delhi Assembly, are locked up.
It is a three-tier security for the EVMs. The machines have been kept inside the strong rooms in nine districts, an Election Commission official said.
Each room is guarded by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, armed police and the local police, he added.
The officer further said that the counting will begin at 8 am on February 10.
"The workers of various political parties will be allowed in the counting halls on Tuesday (February 10) when results for the 70-member of Delhi assembly will be announced," the officials said.
"The entire process of counting will be video graphed," he added.
Delhi saw a voter turnout of 67.14 per cent during polling in the 70 assembly constituencies Saturday. A total of 11,763 candidates contested the elections.
