Citigroup CEO Michael Corbat meets Modi

Citigroup CEO Michael Corbat today called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is believed to have discussed economic situation and bank's India plans.
Citi's Asia Pacific CEO Stephen Bird and India head Pramit Jhaveri accompanied Corbat.
Engaged with India for over 110 years, Citi has presence in the country through 45 branches across 28 cities.
Melinda Gates, co-founder of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also made a courtesy call on the Prime Minister, an official release said.
"Melinda Gates appreciated the Prime Minister's pro-poor initiatives, especially with regard to Swachh Bharat and the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana," it added.
