Class 10 student shot at in Ghaziabad

A Class 10 student was shot at by three unidentified youths in Sahibabad area here today, police said.
Vikas (18) was on his way to his father Raj Karan's dairy in Delhi today afternoon, when the three assailants on bike shot at him from behind and fled the spot, a senior police officer said.
Vikas suffered injuries on his back and was taken to a hospital, the officer said, adding that he was later shifted to Fortis Hospital.
Based on a complaint by Vikas' father, a case has been registered, he said, adding that it might be a case of personal enmity, and police are invesigating other angles too.

"Police are scanning footages of CCTVs installed in nearby areas to establish the identity of accused. We are interrogating Vikas' family and his relatives to get some leads about the accused," added officer.
