The anti-corruption watchdog asked political parties to make their stand clear on pending anti-corruption bills like the Judicial Standards and Accountability Bill 2010, the Public Procurement Bill 2012, the Whistle-blower Protection Act and The Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Bill, 2013.
"Despite being a global emerging economic power, India's growth potential has been constrained due to a world view that views India as suffering from acute policy paralysis with a disappointing track record of running mega corruption scams and scandals.
The statement was released after a panel discussion attended by leaders of Congress, Communist Party of India and Aam Aadmi Party here today.
It hoped that the new government formed after the ongoing Lok Sabha elections would work to redress these challenges on priority basis.
