He said during his meeting with Union Health secretary, C K Mishra, an official release said here.
Congratulating the state government for constructive change in the development of the state, Mishra said the state and the Centre would work together in the health sector and the Centre would extend all possible help.
To eradicate kala-azar, special campaign is being carried out in Dumka, Sahibganj, Pakur and Godda districts, Das said, asking the chief secretary and additional chief secretary (health) to monitor it.
The Union Health secretary said that by 2019 AIIMS would start functioning in Deoghar.
The chief minister also urged the Centre to make Central Institute of Psychiatry at Kanke in Ranchi the best among medical institutions.
