CM unveils oil portrait of Brundaban Tripathy

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has unveiled the oil portrait of late Brundaban Tripathy as part of the freedom fighter's year-long birth centenery.
Tripathy, who was born at Balipadia in Jajpur district, had played a key role in freedom struggle in undivided Cuttack district and spent three-and-half years in prison. He was known as Badachana Gandhi.
Local MLA and senior BJD leader Amar Prasad Satpathy, Tripathy's wife Saraswati Debi and several eminent personalities from the district attended the function at Chief Minister's Secretariat chamber held here last evening.
