Cold conditions prevail in parts of Rajasthan

Cold conditions continued in parts of Rajasthan in the last 24 hours where some areas also recorded marginal rise in night temperatures, the meteorological department said.

Sikar was the coldest place in the state at 3.5 degrees Celsius followed by Ganganagar where the night temperature was 5.5 degrees Celsius, the department said.

Churu, Dabok, Ajmer, Pilani and Bikaner recorded lows of 6.3, 6.4, 7.3, 7.9 and 8.1 degrees Celsius while Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Barmer and Phalodi registered 9, 9.9, 10.9 and 11 degrees Celsius respectively, according to the department.

The cold conditions are likely to remain same during the next 48 hours.
