Hamirpur was the wettest in the region with 47 mm of rains till this morning while Kandaghat and Shimla recorded 25 mm of rains, followed by Banagana 15 mm, Solan and Mandi 11 mm, Sujanpur Tira 10 mm, Banjar and Sangrah 9 mm, Mehre 7 mm and Kotkhai, Jubbar Hatti and Baijnath 6 mm.
Keylong and Kalpa in Lahaul and Spiti and Kinnaur district recorded minimum temperatures at minus 2.5 degree C and 1.1 degree C respectively while Manali and Solan recorded a low of 4.0 degree and 7.5 degree.
The local MeT office has predicted rains or snow in higher hills and tribal areas during the next 48 hours and dry weather in rest of the state.
