Patna registered a maximum temperature of 17.9 degrees Celsius and recorded a minimum of 9.6 degrees Celsius, according to state Met department.
Gaya recorded a minimum of 8.9 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature was registered at 25 degrees Celsius.
Bhagalpur recorded minimum temperature of 10.3 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 21.4 degrees Celsius whereas Purnea registered 9.5 degrees Celsius and 22.7 degree Celsius as their minimum and maximum temperatures respectively.
Meanwhile, fog in several parts resulted in delayed running of trains and the state weather office has forecast dense fog tomorrow with a further fall in the mercury.

Meanwhile, an East Central Railway press release said that running of seven mail trains and 9 passenger trains have been cancelled from December 17 upto January 15, 2017 due to foggy weather condition.
The cancelled mail trains included 14005 Sitamarhi-Anand Vihar Lichvi Express, 13119 Sealdah-Delhi Express, 12505 Guwahati-Anand Vihar Express and 15909 Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Awadh Assam Express among others, Rajak said in a statement.
The passenger trains that were cancelled are Hajipur-Bathua bazar-Hajipur, Barauni-Mokama-Barauni and Mughalsarai-Allahabad-Mughalsarai among others.
