"Only Congress can share power in Jammu and Kashmir," Jammu MP, Madan Lal Sharma said, and called upon people to support the party in the upcoming Parliamentary and Assembly elections.
Congress and National Conference formed the ruling alliance in Jammu and Kashmir with Omar Abdullah as the Chief Minister in 2008, and the assembly elections are to be held later this year. The Lok Sabha elections are also to be held this year.
He appealed to the state government to expedite the process of starting working on new units to provide faster delivery of services to the people as enshrined in the Public Service Guarantee Act.
He asked people to be aware of communal forces trying to divide people for their vested interests.
