Cong sets up committees for assembly polls in Bengal, Assam

Gearing up for Assembly polls in Assam and West Bengal, Congress today set up a number of committees, including Election Committees headed by respective PCC chiefs.
West Bengal party chief Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary and his Assam counterpart Anjan Dutta are heading the committees for the two states.
Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is a member of the committee which has 18 members.
Former West Bengal PCC Chief Pradip Bhattacharya is heading the 90-member campaign committee while another senior leader Somen Mitra is chairman of the manifesto drafting committee. Former MP Deepa Dasmunsi is co-chairperson.
Senior leader A H Khan Chaudhary heads the publcity committee for West Bengal.
