"Congress leaders have been giving statements that they would move forward only when JMM withdraws support to the BJP-led government. Now that the JMM had done it, it's the Congress which should keep its word," the five-member RJD Jharkhand Legislature Party Leader Annapurna Devi said here.
On the statements of both BJP and JMM that their moves were legitimate, Devi said, "It's up to Governor Syed Ahmed to take the final call."
The JMM has claimed that the Arjun Munda Cabinet's decision to recommend dissolution of the House today did not stand as the party had yesterday faxed its decision to withdraw support to the BJP-led government to Raj Bhavan.
The BJP, on the other hand, said physical appearance before the governor was required to lend credibility on the withdrawal of support.
