Congress workers from Devli, Ambedkar Nagar and Sangam Vihar gathered at main road at 10 AM and started protest and burned the effigies of Union Power Minister Piyush Goel and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Protestors, led by DPCC chief Arvinder Singh Lovely, Sajjan Kumar and Mukesh Sharma, chanted slogans against the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Youth and women used hand held fans to vent their ire at the worsening power and short supply of water in Delhi.
Agarwal attacked AAP for failing to devise a summer action plan for electricity supply when it was in power for 49 days and also hit out at BJP saying it had failed to offer any solution to the crisis.
"BJP does not know how to run an administration. Power Minister Piyush Goyal didn't give a solution, instead he criticised us.
"AAP was in power till February 14, but did not chalk out a summer action plan. So, both (BJP, AAP) are responsible for the current power crisis for which Delhiites are suffering," said Agarwal.
"Why Kejriwal, who used to hold dharnas and agitations for small issues and had even refused to furnish bond on a defamation case to go to jail, not starting an agitation against the power companies," DPCC chief spokesperson Mukesh Sharma told reporters here.
