Congress today sought to rub salt in the wounds of BJP leaders reportedly sulking over Kiran Bedi's anointment as the party's chief ministerial candidate for the February 7 Assembly polls in Delhi and denial of tickets to party faithfuls.
Hope the "fierce fracas in BJP" with regards to Bedi, who recently joined BJP, has not "injured veterans" like Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay, senior leader Jagdish Mukhi and party MP Ramesh Bidhuri, Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said on micro-blogging site Twitter.
"Be patient u deprived superseded souls! (sic)," Singhvi said.
Protest over ticket distribution continued in the BJP camp today, though the party said there is "no crisis" and its cadres stand united to face the coming Delhi Assembly polls.
In another tweet, Singhvi took a dig at BJP over inducting defectors into the party fold. "BJP talks against infiltrators and defectors at our borders but welcomes their political species into the party!" he said.
BJP has recently inducted into the party fold former AAP leader Vinod Kumar Binny and Shazia Ilmi, and former Union minister belonging to Congress Krishna Tirath in Delhi.
