Asserting that the Congress was already in "election mode" in Rajasthan, PCC chief Sachin Pilot today said the focus was on mobilising booth-level workers under an initiative, which will cover all 200 constituencies in the state ahead of the assembly polls.

Pilot said he will start his participation under 'mera booth mera gaurav' (my booth my pride) from Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's constituency Jhalrapatan tomorrow.

"There are about 200 booths in each constituency. So we are doing that to galvanise the people, workers, making sure we have enough data... We are doing the grassroots strengthening of the party through this programme and every single leader is participating," the former Union minister said.

"We are already geared up and are very well into election mode," he said.

Pilot exuded confidence of winning the assembly polls slated for later this year and claimed that there was "huge resentment" against the Raje government and over her policies.

Hitting out at the BJP for not addressing people's issues, Pilot said, "Price rise is killing. The BJP government had a different posture on high fuel price when they were in the opposition. When the crude price internationally is half of what it was when we were in government, they are still raising excise on petrol and diesel."
