"The present government had taken numerous vindictive actions by resorting to mass transfers of relatives of BJP workers and other revengeful actions," Dhumal, who is also the Leader of Opposition in state Assembly, told reporters here.
"Many employees have been transferred five to six times in a short period for political reasons but we will not tolerate this revengeful attitude," he said.
The BJP leader said that the state unit had decided to observe "Anti Badla-Badli (Vindictive, Transfers and Revenge)" Week from August 12 to 19 in protest against such actions and the party activists would also gherao the state Assembly on August 23.
"The excessive rains has caused colossal damage in the state, especially in Kinnaur district and the BJP members were keen to raise the issue in the house but their hopes were dashed," he added.
