Retired Justice Shrivastava sworn in as Chhattisgarh Lokayukta

A retired judge of the Allahabad High Court Justice Shambhu Nath Shrivastava took oath today as Chhattisgarh's new Lokayukta.
Justice Shrivastava was administered the oath by Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt at the Raj Bhawan's Darbar Hall this evening.
Justice Shrivastava will succeed former Lokayukta Justice L C Bhadu to become the state's third Lokayukta.
Interacting with reporters, Justice Shrivastava said priority would given to early disposal of around 300 complaints pending before the Lokayukta.
