"We need to prepare a long term prospective plan to ensure proper use of land in the state," said Tuki while taking part in the discussion of the SLUB here yesterday.
A draft concept paper placed by the Board on sustainable and integrated Socio-Economic Development Mission for Arunachal was thoroughly discussed and Tuki directed the board to prepare Land Use Policy involving experts from various fields in order to have a comprehensive and scientific approach towards the proposal of land use.
He advocated for encouraging medicinal plants which is in abundance in the state besides floriculture, horticulture produce and cash crops in such lands.
The chief minister further stressed to involve all departments while making the concept paper so that it is more comprehensive and practical.
