A 40-year old police constable allegedly committed suicide while on duty in Datia district today.
Constable Kishan Singh shot himself with his service rifle around 12.30 pm, said Superintendent of Police Mayank Awasthi.
Singh was on security duty at the office of the Special Armed Force when he allegedly shot himself.
He died on the spot, the SP said, adding that further probe was on.
