Contractor shot dead in Dombivli

A 22-year-old building contractor from Ahiregaon village in Dombivli in the district was today shot dead allegedly by two persons over certain dispute, police said.
Vilas Kene was shot dead by the duo in the village at around 2.45 PM, said Thane Police PRO Sukhada Narkar.
One of the accused has been identified as Mangesh Balaram Bhagat (29), she said.
Kene was rushed to a local hospital where he died while undergoing treatment, the officer said, adding a probe is underway.
