"People who want to help the Nepal earthquake victims can approach the divisional commissioner's office directly," an official release stated.
A control room has been established in the commissioner's office for relief work, it said, adding that an administrative officer has been appointed as Nodal officer of the control room.
The control room would remain open from 9AM to 10PM during which anyone can extend their help in cash and kind, it said. The help would be sent directly to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, it said.
Besides this, many NGOs are conducting blood donation camps and are submitting it to Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) so that if needed the blood can be sent for the victims, the release said.
