Rajendra Kumar, posted in police line, was arrested on September 11 afternoon from Kanpur Railway Station along with two stolen motorcycles. Another constable, who was following Rajendra, fled away from the spot, SSP K Emanuel said.
During interrogation, police said Rajendra confessed that he along with two other constables -- Amardeep and Dwarika Yadav -- used to "steal motorcycles and sell them".
While the SSP terminated the services of Rajendra, Amardeep and Dwarika were suspended.
