Director General of Prisons and Correctional Services, R Sreelekha has ordered the probe against DIG of Prisons (South Zone) B Pradeep, following receipt of an anonymous complaint.
According to the complaint, the actress was invited for jail day celebrations in Pathanamthitta in March and the officer had travelled along with her in his official vehicle. When contacted, Sreelekha said a complaint was received in this regard and Jail IG has been entrusted with the investigation.
She also said the issue was under investigation and she had nothing more to say on the matter.
