Cop thrashed by unidentified miscreants in Haryana

A Head Constable was thrashed by some miscreants who also damaged his private car when the cop intercepted their vehicle and tried to interrogate them in connection with a recent criminal incident.
The incident took place on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, about 22 km from here, when the cop stopped their vehicle for a regular interrogation in connection a criminal act which took place few days ago.
The miscreants also allegedly looted Rs 15,000 from Head Constable Gulab Singh who was later admitted to the Community Health Centre of Bawal, police said.
A case of robbery, along with causing injury, mischief causing damage, assault and obstruction against the unidentified miscreants was registered on Gulab Singh's complaint, they said.

Efforts were on to trace the culprits, police said.
