Copper, brass utensils scrap slip on poor offtake

Copper and brass utensils scrap slipped at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amid poor offtake from industrial users.
While, tin and nickel recovered owing to renewed demand from alloy industries.
Brass utensils scrap moved down by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 305 from Thursday's close at Rs 310.
Copper scrap heavy and copper utensils edged down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 390 and Rs 358 as against Rs 392 and Rs 360 yesterday.
Copper cable scrap, copper armature, copper wire bar and copper sheet cuttings softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 394, Rs 384, Rs 422 and Rs 380, respectively.
However, tin and nickel rose by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 1,460 and Rs 675 from Rs 1,455 and Rs 670 previously.
