Coriander and jeera prices went up by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today largely on the back of a pick-up in demand from local parties and overseas enquiries.
Coriander prices increased by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 11,500-16,500 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also rose Rs 10 each to conclude at Rs 15,900-16,400 and Rs 19,900-20,400 per quintal.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists amid rising export demand, mainly pushed up coriander and jeera prices at the wholesale kirana market here.
