Narendra Darade, the Shiv Sena's candidate for the Legislative Council poll from the Nashik Local Authorities constituency, today filed his nomination.
Today was the last day of filing nominations.
Darade was accompanied by local Sena leaders as he reached the collector's office.
The NCP has fielded advocate Shivaji Sahane in the election. Sahane filed his nomination yesterday.
Sahane was expelled from the Shiv Sena recently, and joined the NCP.
Pervez Konkani also filed his nomination papers as an independent today.
