Court awards death sentence to 3 men for rape, murder of girl
Additional District Judge Satyendra Rajak awarded capital punishment to Sonu, Rupesh and Prashant for the murder of a 12-year-old girl whom they had raped and brutalised - mutilating and inserting foreign objects inside her private parts.
The court held that the heinous offence, that took place on May 11, 2012, in Badhara Kothi police station area, fell in the "rarest of rare" category and awarded death sentence to the three accused.
The court also slapped them with a fine of Rs three lakh each.
