"The court of ACJM-2 gave the directions yesterday to file FIR against Neeraj K Pawan with Mathura Gate police station and also directed to file a compliance report within 15 days," the complainant's lawyer Omprakash Gupta said here.
Pawan was leading an anti-encroachment drive in 2005 when he was posted as sub-divisional magistrate here.
An elderly woman had died during the drive and her family members had held the officer responsible for the death.
Meanwhile, SHO, Mathura Gate, Veerendra Sharma said that he has not received the court's order so the case could not be registered so far.
